25 Star Dark Balsamic Vinegar


This all natural barrel aged traditional style balsamic condimento referred to us as ’25 star’ is made by one of the most renowned makers of balsamic vinegars in Italy.  Made in Modena, Italy by traditional methods.  First quality grape must, pressed from late harvested varietals Trebbiano and Lambrusco, is reduced by half and left to ferment naturally up to three weeks.  Result is blended with a small amount of premium aged wine vinegar to balance the acidity and matured and further concentrated for a minimum of 18 months in Slavonia Oak casks.  The result is a velvety texture and fruity sweetness with mellow oak undertones.  Perfect for finishing stews, risottos, scallops, grilled meats and fish and extraordinary over fresh cut berries, melon, aged cheeses and ice cream.

Pairs well with all Extra Virgin Olive Oils. Is most popular!  Try it with Nocellara EVOO.
