OUR MISSION	It is our desire to establish women in the knowledge of Jesus Christ, and create opportunities to encourage fellowship among Elim, and other denominations, though teaching, restoring, and equipping, within the local church, for the extension of the Kingdom of God.
OUR HISTORY	When the Elim Canada Council of Elders desired to establish a ministry for Canadian Women in 1992, Rev. Judy Pattison was appointed to pioneer this work. This ministry has evolved from a small retreat in Waterdown. In 2007 Rev. Judy passed the leadership to Rev. Heidi Dockalek B.Min. she currently resides as our Olive National Director. In 2008 Elim Canada Women's Department was officially named The Olive Connection. Names are significant for they portray character qualities. The Olive tree symbolizes peace, victory and fruitfulness. Presently scores of women from multiple denominations in Canada attend Olive's annual Conventions and Conferences. Since its small beginnings, God has raised up an army of volunteers, who faithfully serve E.C.W.D. on the Leadership Team and various committees. Their greatest desire is to see women's lives changed after meeting with the Lord Jesus Christ.
